Advanced ultra-three-dimensional manufacturing method
The ultra-three-dimensional design has been further improved on the underside of the toes, instep, and ankle, resulting in a more secure fit and a natural feel. It now feels like you're barefoot more than ever before.

Comfort + Toe Strength
Prioritizing a better fit and comfort for the fingers, the material has been changed from nylon to the same cotton and acrylic blend as the main body. For added durability, the underside of all fingertips has been reinforced with a pile weave.

Improved breathability between the toes
As one measure to combat rising temperatures, we've installed breathable mesh between the toes. By placing it on both the top and bottom of the foot, we reduce stuffiness in the toe area.

Sporty design
The distinctive color blocking creates a sporty look. The darker color from the toes to the heel helps to conceal dirt.

Introducing the fourth generation of Type-ZERO, the Type-ZERO IV. If we had to describe this latest model in one word, it would be "returning to our roots." The TRR-15G (the original Type-ZERO), created for the 2008 Tokyo Marathon EXPO, was a running sock that prioritized comfort and running feel above all else, providing a barefoot-like sensation. In other words, the arrival of the Type-ZERO IV comes after 15 years of development, during which many runners have recognized its comfort and running feel, and the sock has continued to evolve.

In this fourth generation, we have further evolved the ultra-three-dimensional design, while returning the toe area from nylon to a blend of cotton and acrylic yarn with a pleasant texture. Concerns about toe durability have been addressed by varying the thickness in different areas. And, in line with the recent decline in demand for long tights, the length has been returned to the same "ankle length" as the original model. This is why we call it "returning to our roots." The name "ZERO" was adopted from the third generation onwards to represent the feeling of wearing socks as if you weren't wearing any at all.
