The Pomoca Speed Hiking outsole provides reliable grip and traction when moving fast in alpine terrain, while speed hiking or mountain training. The tread has an aggressive lug design that performs well in a wide range of different conditions, while the S-Path glide zone promotes natural heel strike and toe off, while keeping your central foot pressure where you want it – in direct contact with the ground. This works in in synergy with our motion guidance technology with a double-density EVA midsole to ensure sure-footedness. In addition, the tried-and-tested SALEWA® 3F system connects the instep area with the sole and heel for flexibility, a precise fit and support. In addition, TPU heel caps and side reinforcements ramp up the overall protection. For use during wetter conditions, the Speed Beat benefits from a stretch gaiter that keeps out trail debris and allows you to stash the laces and the Ortholite® footbed ensures good moisture management.
