STL 2.5, Drop Point, Fine Edge

One of Gerber’s many impressive innovations in knife engineering and construction is the STL 2.5 drop point fine edge folder. This rugged little featherweight folding knife can accompany its owner almost anywhere without causing interference.

RUGGED STEEL HANDLE 
Elegant steel composes the ultra-lightweight handle of this little knife. Weighing in at a scant 1.5 ounces, it somehow manages to contain an agile 2.6- inch stainless steel fine edge blade within its tiny yet solid frame lock construction. The half-arc grooves stamped into the lower edges on each side of the handle offer the holder steady purchase with thumb and index finger while deploying the knife one-handed using the thumb hole in the blade. Frame locking prevents the blade from closure during use for safety.

A CAPABLE EDGE 
Slice open box tape, cut rope, even whittle with the STL 2.5 folder’s fine edge blade. Its tidy structure makes cleaning the blade effortless. The fine edge of the blade allows for rapid and easy sharpening, regardless of location. A small lanyard hole provides optional tie-down and additional security for this reliable knife.
